Google Cloud is a very helpful tool that you may use for a plethora of reasons, but this article is specifically focusing in on Google Cloud Storage and the information held within the buckets.
You can access Google Cloud Storage here. If you do not have access to the tool, please contact your direct report for assistance.
You will see each firm has their own bucket labeled "anduin-'firm'-prd".
When you select the firm whose resources you are looking for, you will be brought to three folders.
- csvreport - this folder will hold all of the reports sent to the firm on a daily basis (i.e., bounced email reports, payment export files, payment intent files, etc.).
- invoices - this folder will hold all of the invoice pdfs sent through Aiwyn from the firm.
- pmdata - this folder will hold data from the firm's practice management system
csvreport will be the main folder you are accessing from a Client Support view when identifying if a file was created in Google Cloud or if you need to send a firm a file that was not received through Postmark.
When you open csvreport, there may be a high volume of files dependent on the age of the firm. You are able to filter the files accordingly to make it easier to locate the file needed.
1. Select 'Sort and filter' at the top of the page.
2. Ensure 'Select and filter' is the highlighted option from the dropdown menu.
3. Once selected, you can now select the headers of the columns that you wish to filter. To find files the quickest, I suggest filtering by the 'Created' column.
Once you find the file you wish to open, select the file by clicking on the name of the file which is blue and underlined.
From here you will be able to select "Download" and view the file that was generated in Google Cloud.
Note: If the file is not visible in Google Cloud, further investigate if the file is set up correctly in the database.
